General Identity-informed Resources

  • Mental Health Resources for Marginalized Communities → This American Foundation for Suicide Prevention site includes resources for finding providers, independent coping, as well as organizations that speak to the experiences and needs of racially, ethnically, and religiously minoritized groups.
  • Identity and Cultural Dimensions → a comprehensive psychoeducational resource from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). It addresses the experiences of Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islanders (AANHPI), Black individuals, Hispanic/Latinx folx, Indigenous people, LGBTQ+ community members, and people with disabilities.

  • The Steve Fund → The nation’s leading organization focused on supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of young people of color. The organization’s web page provides access to coping tools, information for young adults, BIPOC youth, and their parents/guardians.

Resources for Asian, Asian-American, and Pacific Islander People

  • Asian Mental Health Collective → This organization provides resources, a provider finding platform, and opportunities to get involved in advocacy and activism around the mental health needs and experiences of AANHPI individuals.
  • The Asian Mental Health Project → This organization provides resources to educate and empower Asian communities seeking mental healthcare.

  • Black Mental and Emotional Health Collective (BEAM) → BEAM is an organization that provides mental health resources and community connections for Black identifying individuals.
